      Comments about this product:

This is a Charles Dickens' novel come to the screen. Ronald Colman gives a performance with his good looks, rich voice, and acting ability. Wish there is more movies available with him.

I always remember the beginning and ending lines of the novel. "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times...". "This is a far, far better thing I do, than I have done before."

The 2 cities are Paris and London. It occurs during the French Revolution. Anybody connected with the aristocracy visited the guillotine and trials were mock affairs obeying whims. They did not bring justice, but terror for revenge.

You escaped France once, don't be silly about a dear friend. You can't get a fair hearing, so waste more lives in is wild pandemonium?

This is a good movie made by David O. Selznick. If you like classic novels, this is a must see.
