In this 1995 romantic fantasy, Keanu Reeves as returning soldier Paul Sutton, is still reeling from the horrors of World War II. He impulsively marries Debra Messing, and his new wife convinces him to relinquish his dream of starting a farm for becoming a chocolate peddler instead. A sales trip takes him on a whole new adventure in which he agrees to pose for a few days as the hubby of a distraught, pregnant woman, Victoria Aragon, played by Aitana Sanchez-Gijon, so that she won't be disgraced in the eyes of her family. Anthony Quinn as Grandfather Don Pedro, along with most of her family members, take an instant shine to Sutton, except for vineyard-owner Giancarlo Giannini as Victoria's father, Alberto, who smells a rat.
