"Alimony" (1949) portrays the life of one clever fox of a woman, and the men who she seduces, only to leave wanting for more of her - and for their other things, which she has stolen! Martha Vickers heads up the cast as the dangerous young women who huntsout rich men in order to separate them from their bank accounts. The first step is making them leave their wives - not too hard of an ordeal for her. Then, she has to create a case in which the man is at fault for the divorce. In doing so, she leaves with half of their stuff. Of course, in for an inch, in for a mile, and Vickers' character ends up dancing on the line just a little too long. What's coming for her is worth the wait.
