American Shopper DVD
One man embarks on a mad quest to turn grocery shopping into a sport in this zany documentary. When Jonathan Sawyer reads that the average American spends 6,000 hours shopping for food over a lifetime, the statistic gives birth to an idea. Determined to spice things up, he invents "aisling," a sport involving competitions that test shoppers' speed, agility and ability to locate specific items. Filmmaker Tamas Bojtor captures Sawyer in action as he stages the world's first aisling championship.
