"Angel on My Shoulder" (1946) follows the story of a notorious gangster that is viciously murdered by his partner, who turns out to be a double-crossing liar. He strikes up a deal with the devil to be able to return to Earth. When he is back, he is able to double-cross his partner and send him to hell as well. These deals do not come without requirements, and the devil has some demands all his own.
