Everyone's favorite orphan gets to sing and dance her way across the big screen in this boisterous adaptation of the beloved Broadway classic. A red headed Aileen Quinn is the titular waif in "Annie" (1982), whose positivity in songs like "Tomorrow" makesher "Hard Knock Life" bearable. Things take an unexpected turn when Annie is sent to the house of Albert Finney's wealthy "Daddy" Warbucks. Despite standoffish behavior, Warbucks takes a liking to the girl, but the mistress of the orphanage, played by atyrannical Carol Burnett, stands in the way of Annie's new-found happiness.
