Who knew that a small town could be so snazzy? The title of this 2006 film ironically references this Bay Area town as a symbol of boring and stultifying, especially to young folks. I doesn't help that the town was originally, and still is, primarily a cemetery. The protagonists are three recent high school grads who break into thirteen original songs as they overcome recent heartbreaks and decide what to do with the rest of their lives. A film festival favorite, this DVD includes some deleted scenes andcommentary from director-choreographer Richard Wong and writer-performer H.P. Mendoza.
