Passion or progress - that's the debate at the center of "Contempt" (1964), Jean-Luc Godard's cynical and somewhat autobiographical look at the business of filmmaking. A glimpse into the end of a marriage, the story follows Paul Javal (Michel Piccoli), a screenwriter commissioned to rewrite a more commercial version of Homer's "The Odyssey." His wife Camille (Brigitte Bardot) falls out of love with him during his self-involved and grueling process. Co-starring Fritz Lang as himself and Jack Palance as an American producer, this Blu-ray includes featurettes, a conversation with Fritz Lang and more.
