The legendary Davy Crockett is brought to life by Fess Parker in these two Disney live action frontier adventures. In "Davy Crockett, King Of The Wild Frontier" (1955), the American hero and his faithful companion, played by Buddy Ebsen, fight alongside Andrew Jackson, battle Big Foot, work for Indian rights and ultimately defend the Alamo. In the prequel, "Davy Crockett And The River Pirates" (1956), Davy and George race keel-boats down the Mississippi River and defeat a band of pirates.
