Description
The last man alive... is not alone!

Welcome to the future. Biological war has decimated life on Earth. Los Angeles is a windswept ghost town where Robert Neville tools his convertible through sunlit streets foraging for supplies. And makes damn sure he gets undercover before sundown, when other "inhabitants" emerge.

The Omega Man adapts Richard Matheson's novel I Am Legend into a high-impact, high-tension saga of a fate not far removed from reality. Charlton Heston is Neville, fending off attacks by The Family, sinister neopeople spawned by the plague. He also becomes a man with a mission after meeting Lisa (Rosalind Cash), another uninfected survivor - and guardian of some healthy children representing our species' hope.

      Comments about this product:

A great, relaxing late night movie for those who like Sci-Fi, zombies, the chiseled Chuck Heston, and a fun overdose of 70's cheesy style. I enjoyed watching Chuck race around trying to stay alive and keep from going insane. Also the clothing, background sets & details, and CARS! were a blast. "I Am Legend" is a modern remake of this movie.

What would you do if you were the last man on earth? Or maybe I should say the last "real" man.
Take a ride with Charlton Heston as he wanders through the world of "zombies" in seach of life or at least another person!

              Comments about this product:

The only "zombie" genre movie that has a hint of realism or plausibility to it. The infected are not re-animated but either die quickly or become half-crazed slowly dying survivors. Heston's Robert Neville, immune to the disease due to experimental vaccine, becomes a martyr to science and society. The ending is a little heavy handed. Neville dies at the hands of one of the albino survivors but not before he hands a bottle of his blood to a younger pre-med survivor not showing symptoms. As he dies in a fountain Neville's arms float outward portraying a crucifixtion. Dying at a cross his blood saves mankind.
