Comments about this product:

I remember seeing this as a kid and was totally fascinated by it. It does show its age now but still a good movie. Would love to see a remake of it with modern technology!

      Comments about this product:

Directed by Michael Crichton. Although seeming a little silly at first and pure entertainment especially for the early 1970s today it is slowly becoming plausible. The characters are realistic, the computers etc show signs of their times. Yul Brynners' android gunslinger is every bit as scary as The Terminator, at first programmed to die at the hands of guests, then becoming almost unstoppable and completely deadly. With todays advances in android technology, especially from Japan, these androids could happen in 20 years. The very, very prophetic and scary part is that in 1973 Crichton wrote about a problem with one computerized system being somehow spread to another. 20 years before the internet he was speaking of computer viruses. Again prophetic, worth watching if just for that reason.
