                  Comments about this product:

This gets the five star rating b/c of The Glass Bottom Boat which is one of my favorite Doris Day movies! =)

                  "Please Don't Eat the Daises"
Doris Day is one of my favorite actresses and I'm sorry to say that I had to watch this movie four times until I was able to fully enjoy and watch it. This movie is almost two hours long and after watching an hour of this movie I'd start falling asleep! I just felt that there were too many scenes with David Niven and Janis Paige. While these were necessary to the storyline, in my personal opinion it made the movie overly long.

I did very much enjoy the scenes Doris Day had with her four boys, her dog, and when she moved into the big house in the country that she had to re-do. Her romantic scenes with David Niven were also nice, and there are some funny moments. I wish they would have let her have her hair down sometimes though... her character has it up the entire movie.

The songs Doris sings, Please Don't Eat the Daises and Any Way the Wind Blows, are very good.

Overall, this is a good movie. Not my favorite Doris Day movie but not bad either. To me, it was just too long with too many scenes not involving Doris Day when she's supposed to be the lead actress.

                  "The Glass Bottom Boat"
One of my FAVORITE Doris Day movies. Very funny and includes great songs. Excellent chemistry between her and her male lead Rod Taylor, who were not good together previously in "Do Not Disturb". A LOT of "Bewitched" actors are in this such as Paul Lynde and the actors who played Abner and Gladys Kravitz, in this playing Doris Day's neighbors. Very original and keeps you laughing. A must see.

Great songs in this move too.
