TCM Originals—a new line of special programs exclusive to Turner Classic Movies—proudly presents DON’T SAY NO UNTIL I FINISH TALKING: THE STORY OF RICHARD D. ZANUCK.

An inspiring and moving portrait of a cinema icon, DON’T SAY NO examines the life and career of the legendary producer, from his family legacy (his father was 20th Century-Fox co-founder and studio head Darryl F. Zanuck) to his personal successes and challenges—first as president of 20th Century-Fox, spearheading classics such as The Sound of Music (1965), Planet of the Apes (1968) and Patton (1970), then as the producer of such defining movies as The Sting (1973), Jaws (1975), The Verdict (1982), Cocoon (1985), Driving Miss Daisy (1989) and six films directed by Tim Burton. The documentary features extensive conversations with Zanuck and his family, as well as exclusive interviews with such Hollywood notables as Clint Eastwood, Helena Bonham Carter, Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Morgan Freeman, Ron Howard, Steven Spielberg, Tim Burton, William Friedkin and more.

DON’T SAY NO comes to TCM from Amblin Television. The special is executive produced Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank and Steven Spielberg, and is written, directed and produced by award-winning filmmaker Laurent Bouzereau. Extensive bonus features include an introduction by Laurent Bouzereau and Lili Zanuck; a special overview of the production by Bouzereau; bonus interview clips with Tim Burton, Johnny Depp, Clint Eastwood, William Friedkin, Ron Howard, Steven Spielberg and Zanuck himself; extensive photo galleries of Richard Zanuck in childhood, at the studio, on set and in his private life.
