            Comments about this product:

The on-screen chemistry and sexual tension between Barbara Stanwyck and Fred MacMurray is pure magic and palpable. The timing of the delivery of their lines is perfectly executed. MacMurray has never looked more dashing and hard-boiled as a smitten insurance salesman who, despite his better judgement, falls for the sultry, sexy Stanwyck. Edward G. Robinson as McMurray's boss and mentor is wonderful and vulnerable. The plot twists and razor sharp dialog and perfectly-timed delivery of their lines shows McMurray and Stanwyck at their finest. Arguably, one of the best examples of American film noir. Riveting from the first minute to the closing scene.

              Comments about this product:

Classic Noir! The Insurance salesman falls for the wrong girl. Life is going so,so in this torrid tale of lust for riches made easy. All it takes is murder... For business man (Mac Murry) he has met his Achiles Heel! The beautiful "other woman" (Barbie).. OOOoooo... the screen sizzles as the couple pair off to committ the perfect murder... or do they?... The scene in the beginning where Barbie comes down in the stairs is RIVETING!! You know from this first scene into the film that you are about to see a bombshell... the narrative is great too.. It adds so much to the style of the film and the story telling avorice of the players... Not to be undone, Mac Murry "thinks" he has the Investigator stumped! But he forgot one thing....I won't spoil it for you...

This film holds you on the edge of your seat every minute... a classic drama filled with desire, sex appeal, tension and the unexpected.
