Description
Many have tried, but none have reached the chilling heights of Bela Lugosi's iconic portrayal of the world's most famous vampire, in Tod Browning's "Dracula" (1931). Frances Dade, Helen Chandler and Edward Van Sloan also star in the first film adaptation of Bram Stoker's famous novel. This remastered DVD also includes the 1999 re-release with the Kronos Quartet playing an original score by Philip Glass, and a Spanish language version that was shot on the same set with the same scripts, featuring Carlos Villarias and Lupita Tovar.

Comments about this product:

In addition to the marvelous Spanish version of the movie there is a new score for the original Dracula composed by Philip Glass. If you love Dracula but are bored by the Swan Lake music you should definitely get this DVD.

      Comments about this product:

I grew up watching this Dracula and have looked for this on DVD for awhile till I found this site. The price is really cheap which made buying it a no brainier.
I think kids or young adults wouldn't like this version but if your of the age and actually know who played Dracula in this movie than this is for you. A classic film, a simple film that is perfectly done. The use of lighting and shadows is really done well, making Dracula beautiful yet scary.
