One of the most famous couples in Hollywood history demonstrates the chemistry they bring on and off the screen in the 5-disc collection "Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton: The Film Collection" (2006). The twice-married couple give their most explosive performances in the acerbic domestic drama "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?"(1966), which earned 13 Academy Award nominations, in every major category. Burton plays a cynical hotel owner who has an affair with Taylor against the backdrop of Haiti's political unrest in "The Comedians" (1967), based on the novel by Graham Greene. "The Sandpiper" (1965) casts Burton as a man of the cloth torn between his wife, Eva Marie Saint, and Taylor as a free-spirited single mother. "The V.I.P.'s" (1963) depicts a group of jet-setters delayed at London's Heathrow Airport, with Taylor playing an actress planning to leave her millionaire husband, played by Burton.
