Johnny Cash stars in "5 Minutes To Live (Door-To-Door Maniac)" (1961), an exciting film about a job gone wrong, ending in the death of a police officer. Tough New Jersey gangster Johnny Cabot, played by Cash, must flee to a small suburb in California. When he gets a chance to return in the form of a bank heist, he's all in and assists the crook Fred Dorella, played by Vic Tayback, in his plans. Johnny pretends to be a salesman to get into the home of Harper Federal Trust's vice president and threatens hiswife for money. The plan seems fool-proof until it's soon revealed that not all is well in the vice president's marriage.
