The eternal battle of crime and punishment finds a worthy setting in the Old West. "Gangster's Den" (1945) stars Buster Crabbe and Al St. John as cowboys Billy Carson and Fuzzy Q. Jones, respectively. After striking the mother lode in gold prospects, St.John opens a saloon. Unfortunately for him, his establishment turns into the favorite haunt of all the criminals within spitting distance. That's when Crabbe enters the picture, and he's just the vigilante St. John needs to clean things up. Only the quickest draw will be left standing.
