The bustling Seattle musical scene provides the backdrop for this tale of sibling rivalry. New York Film Critics Award-winner Jennifer Jason Leigh is Sadie, an aspiring rock star with some serious addictions to fight. Oscar nominee Mare Winningham is Georgia, a successful folk singer who's gotten tired of bailing Sadie out. Their battle to overcome those differences and get Leigh on the right track makes for compelling drama. Ulu Grosbard (1981's "True Confessions") directs a cast including Ted Levine, Max Perlich, rock star John Doe and John C. Reilly. Winingham wrote her big number, "If I Wanted."
