HOME IN OKLAHOMAA wealthy rancher dies from a fall from his horse, but St. Louis reporter Connie Edwards (Dale Evans) suspects that it was murder. She then takes the story to the editor of a local newspaper (Roy Rogers) to help her look into the case.Together they attend the reading of the deceased tycoon's will and everyone is shocked to learn that his estate has been bequeathed to a young boy of no relation. Suspicions of foul play are soon confirmed when an attempt is made on the boy's life.
