Any movie putout by the Disney Studio practically comes with a guarantee of tugging on the heartstrings. "Greyfriars Bobby" (1961) is no exception. When a Scottish shepherd and his loyal Scots terrier travel to Edinburgh, the old man goes to his maker. Not willing to leave his master, the dog takes up residence at the graveyard. The caretaker of the place wants the "mutt" gone andthe local constable thinkshe needs to be captured. Instead, the community adopts the pup as one of their own. Some friendships last forever.
