Comments about this product:

Great view of Cold War tensions despite the technical inaccuracies (which would go unnoticed by most viewers). I first saw this movie while underway in the North Atlantic in a nuclear submarine in the 70's and the technical inaccuracies were a great source of amusement to our crew. However, the movie still holds up as a reflection of the Cold War tension of the period and is otherwise entertaining. Great movie for the older generation to share with younger relatives to give them a glimpse of some of our generations actors and the climate of the Cold War.

Howard Hughes favorite movie. Very entertaining spy spoof in relation to the cold war and the tecnology that existed in the late 60's.

Interesting picture of the cold war. Russia and America are working together and you can not trust ANYONE in this spy thriller. The race is to save scientist trapped at the pole during an ice storm - or is it?
