Starring Richard Carlson, Barbara Rush and Charles Drake, this cleverly crafted sci-fi movie was Universal's first film to be shot in 3-D. When amateur astronomers Carlson and Rush visit the site of what they think is meteor strike they instead discover a crashed alien spaceship. As townspeople begin to disappear, the local sheriff and the media refuse to believe that their little town could be the site of an alien invasion.
