                        • Review Of Events

Was helpful in the review / timeline of events as I was quite young when this assassination occurred. As I followed the aftermath and kept newspaper clippings, this DVD did not provide much new information. But for those younger than me, may be helpful in understanding what occured on that fateful day
The Big Negative has to do with the sound effects and musical mixing. Overwhelming throughout and frequently drowning out the dialouge. family members lost interest or were asking throughout "what did he say"
                        UNACCEPTABLE

                        Definitive, but not Really Objective

                        • Propaganda

The History Channel's presentation – "JFK Assassination: The Definitive Guide" -- should be retitled, because it is only a definitive guide to the viewpoints of the EDITORS of the History Channel.

The pseudo-objectivity of this DVD is blatantly obvious, especially when MAJOR critics of the Warren Commission are seriously marginalized (e.g., Mark Lane, Cyril Wecht), or completely ignored (e.g., Harold Weisberg, Oliver Stone, Dr James Fetzer, et al)!

The "Definitive Guide" is carefully edited (manipulated) to allow Vincent Bugliosi (a WC apologist) to have the last word, where he (and The History Channel) imply that the majority of Americans are "paranoid" with their conspiracy theories, and that Americans can't confront the idea that most times, well . . . stuff just happens . . . Most bad things just happen for no good reason: coincidence, misunderstanding, anger, or some other human frailty!

Vincent Bugliosi, Gerald Posner, and the editors of The History Channel aren't objective enough to make viewers AWARE that in 1997, the late President Gerald Ford (a Warren Commissioner) ADMITED that he (with Arlen Specter) made a key change to JFK's death report by MOVING the location of JFK's back wound 5 ½ inches UP to the back of JFK's neck, merely "to CLARIFY" [LOL] the single bullet explanation that Oswald acted ALONE.

Vincent Bugliosi, Gerald Posner, and the editors of History Channel base their overwhelming evidence and conclusions on a PROVEN FRAUD! Moving the location of a wound isn't clarification, it's a FELONY (tampering with evidence).

                        Yeah! "STUFF JUST HAPPENS!"
