This little known Rogers and Hart musical follows a lowly tailor played by Maurice Chevalier who masquerades as an aristocrat to win the heart of a princess played by Jeanette MacDonald. Chevalier's tailor is owed a large sum of money from a family of aristocrats, but when he shows up at their castle to collect, the tailor meets the beguiling princess and a plan is quickly hatched to conceal his common status in order to woo the fair lady. Featuring classic Rodgers and Hart songs like "Love Me Tonight," "Isn't it Romantic?," "Mimi" and "Lover," this early musical is sure to please.
