A big-game hunter becomes the hunted in Nazi-controlled Bavaria in "Man Hunt" (1941). While seeking wild game the mountains, Walter Pidgeon's huntsman unexpectedly finds Adolf Hitler in his crosshairs, but rules against pulling the trigger. George Sanders' Gestapo major suspects Pidgeon of being a would-be assassin, however, and the hunter finds himself pursued by German agents from a Danish steamer to the streets of London. "Man Hunt" marked the first anti-Nazi film from German director Fritz Lang while living in Hollywood. The film co-stars Joan Bennett, John Carradine and Roddy McDowell in his screen debut.
