In his final feature film, Ernest Borgnine plays a Southern California disc jockey, embittered about being consigned to a nursing home, as well as not having accomplished more with his life. His testiness wears on the facility's largely Latino staff, until word gets out of his passing acquaintance with legendary Mexican entertainer Vicente Fernandez─and their admiration brings renewed purpose to the old man.
