Spy vs. Spy - and she plays them both! In "Miss V from Moscow" (1942), a campy espionage flick made in the heart of World War II, Lola Lane stars as a Soviet secret agent who bears a striking resemblance to a Nazi spy. She bravely adopts the German's identity, so she can infiltrate the Nazi party and rescue Howard Banks, who plays as a downed American flyer. This over-the-top melodrama features hilariously inept dialogue and a lot of unintentional laughs before our heroine finally saves the whole American naval fleet from sure destruction.
