This is one for the headlines. In "Missing Girls" (1936), runaway Ann Jason (Ann Doran) and her friend Dorothy unexpectedly get caught up in the criminal underworld when they are kidnapped by the gangster Ben Davis - the man who killed Dorothy's senator father for trying to legalize and tax gambling.
