    Comments about this product:

All the elements of great movie making including a riveting central performance by movie Icon, Tyrone Power create movie magic. Stanton Carlisle is a hustler and con man through and through. He cons the women around his as easily as he cons the audiences he entertains, first at the seedy carnival side show and then at a glossy night club. From there his con keeps getting more high stakes. His downfall comes in the form of a femme fatal -- Helen Walker as an unethical analyst who delivers the perfect noir retribution. This wonderfully disturbing movie has gained in reputation over time and is deservedly something of a cult classic. The cinematography is great, the screenplay is finely crafted, the star is magnetic and the supporting players including Joan Bondell, Mike Masurki and Coleen Gray are terrific. What a movie!
