This is an installment in a long-running series of movies about OSS 117- the French super-spy and James Bond equivalent, Hubert Bonisseur de la Bath. However, unlike its predecessors, this spy action-adventure pokes fun at the genre as Jean Dujardin starsas the oh-so-serious but moronic spy with an uncanny physical resemblance to Sean Connery. A glib yet clever spoof, "Oss 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies" (2006) revolves around the protagonist in Berlin, where he outwits the Nazis, and then years later heads to Cairo posing as a chicken farmer to investigate the death of a fellow agent. He manages to script a Middle East peace arrangement while keeping an eye on Suez Canal activities and monitoring the Russians. Michel Hazanavicius directed the film and scriptwriter Jean-Francois Halin penned the hilarious hijinks.
