Film noirs in this collection are "Portland Expose" (1957) and "They Were So Young" (1954). In the first film, producer Lindsley Parsons seized on the considerable publicity of the 1950s Life magazine exposé about Teamsters corruption that had a stranglehold on Portland. His cast of superior character actors and on-location filming produced the dark and gritty crime drama, even though the film crew was threatened with physical violence. The second feature tells the tale of five European models who are nabbed in Rio de Janeiro for a white slavery ring. Raymond Burr stars as the villain in this exciting crime melodrama.
