Red Skelton stars as radio detective Wally "The Fox" Benton in a trio of comedic mysteries. First, the Fox has to do some real sleuthing when he's kidnapped by a phony religious cult leader and his followers as part of a scheme to make off with a million-dollar inheritance, in "Whistling in the Dark" (1941).
