Dance, dance, dance. In a trilogy of interlocking stories, "Roseland" (1977) James Ivory and Ismail Merchant twirl us to New York City's famed Roseland Ballroom, where the romance of dancing brings senior citizens together. "The Waltz" stars Teresa Wright as a widow, with Lou Jacobi as her suitor. "The Hustle" stars Christopher Walken as a charming gigolo dancer juggling three women. "The Peabody" stars Lilia Skala as a cleaning lady hoping to compete in a vigorous dance despite health warnings. The episodic storyline features vintage hit songs such as "Slow Boat to China," "Stranger in Paradise" and "Rockin' Chair."
