Enjoy the "Golden Voice of Africa" in this autobiographical documentary, "Salif Keita" (2004). Known for his work in "Ali" (2001) and "Mansfield Park" (1999), Keita's distinctive music is a fusion of his Malian roots with funk, jazz, R&B and Europop. In an interview segment, Keita addresses the difficulty he had as an Albino growing up among black-skinned African peers and how this shaped him as a man and artist. Performances include his popular songs "Yelen'na," "Folon" and 'Mandjou,' and an improvised rehearsal session with Carlos Santana.
