Hop back with the gang in the Mystery Machine with "Scooby Doo: The Movie" (2002), director Raja Gosnell's live action remaining of the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon series. An all-star cast including Freddie Prinze Jr, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Linda Cardellini and Matthew Lillard bring the classic cartoon characters of Fred, Daphne, Velma, and Shaggy to life, along with a computer-generated Scooby himself. When Fred's self-centered treatment causes the Mystery Inc. gang to part ways, they're brought backtogether two years later to investigate the mysterious happenings at Spooky Island, a teen resort and fun park run by a comically brilliant Rowan Atkinson. Atkinson might be behind a scheme that is turning college kids into zombie-like youths and it's up to the gang to get to the bottom of the mystery. "Scooby Doo" will both please fans of the original series, while playfully poking fun at its own well-known iconography in this box-office blockbuster that was one of the biggest hits of 2002.
