Jim Brown brings the hurt, and it's Magnum-sized, in this two-disc set featuring two soul cinema sensations about the adventures of the former Green Beret. In the original "Slaughter" (1972), he's out to get the Mob for killing his parents and even joins forces with the government to track them into Mexico. Stella Stevens, Rip Torn and Cameron Mitchell co-star in this film from "Race With the Devil" (1975) director Jack Starrett. The Mob makes the mistake of striking back in "Slaughter's Big Rip-Off" (1973), setting the stage for some epic reprisals on Brown's part. Gordon Douglass (1967's "In Like Flint") directs this time, with Ed McMahon, Don Stroud, Brock Peters and Dick Anthony Williams in support.
