Maia Harris directed this 2000 documentary detailing the notorious New Orleans red-light district known as Storyville. The film explores the abundance of prostitution and jazz that thrived there from 1898 to 1917, a nearly two-decade run that only came to an end with World War I. With narration by a fictional prostitute of the era, a jazz soundtrack featuring Jelly Roll Morton and Buddy Bolden, and an interview with Al Rose, the author of the true story "Storyville New Orleans."
