With goals of being like a famous president, Jackie Cooper has been dubbed the "Abe Lincoln of Ninth Avenue." By day, hard-working Cooper manages a news stand and by night he attends law school. Thugs harangue Cooper and his physically challenged pal, Martin Spellman. A happy ending, however, is just around the corner in the "Streets of New York" (1939). This copy comes with hilarious outtakes, including one in which, after burning himself, Cooper starts swearing.
