The 4-disc "Studio Classics, Set 3" commemorates 20th Century Fox's 75th anniversary by presenting five of the studio's most iconic films based on works of classic literature. "Anna Karenina" (1948) stars Vivien Leigh in this adaptation of the Tolstoy novel. Rock Hudson and Jennifer Jones star in Ernest Hemingway's seminal wartime romance "A Farewell to Arms" (1957). Both versions of Victor Hugo's epic "Les Miserables" (1935 & 1952) are presented in their sweeping glory. Finally, Tyrone Power, Ava Gardner, Errol Flynn, Mel Ferrer and Eddie Albert star in another Hemingway tale, "The Sun Also Rises" (1957).
