Capitalizing on her notorious success at the Chicago World's Fair, Poverty Row studio Grand National cast exotic dancer Sally Rand in this murder mystery, which would be her last feature film. Rand performs her two trademarked routines -- the half-naked fan dance and the bubble dance -- as a nightclub dancer who turns to stripping to get to get the goods on the club owner who had her D.A. daddy killed. Although banned in many states, the film was kept in release through the '50s to capitalize on Rand's fame. Directed by Louis Gasnier ("Reefer Madness," 1936).
