Directed by Curt Siodmak, "Tales of Frankenstein" (1958) is an unsold 1954 television pilot featuring the popular horror myth. The story unfolds with a desperate woman seeking to bring her dead husband back to life. The legendary Dr. Frankenstein implants the husband's brain into a gruesome body made of parts of corpses. Once the revived creature sees his reflection, he goes on a mad killing spree. The DVD also includes Roger Corman's 1963 classic, "The Terror," starring Boris Karloff as Baron Von Leppe, and Jack Nicholson as a French soldier stranded in a foreign country. This haunting film revolves around the soldier's attempts to find a ghostly damsel while he falls prey to a slew of chilling and mysterious circumstances.
