Frank Flannagan (Gary Cooper) is a middle-aged American playboy on holiday in Paris, where he enjoys a string of affairs. But things take an unexpected turn when falls for "worldly" younger woman Ariane Chavasse (Audrey Hepburn), in director Billy Wilder's delightful romantic comedy "Love in the Afternoon" (1957). Maurice Chevalier co-stars as Ariane's father, a private detective hired by the husband of one of Frank's conquests.
