Patriotism truly is the last refuge of the scoundrel. In the classic PRC Western "The Texas Marshal" (1941), the law squares off against a nefarious organization whose front is pure deception. Tim McCoy stars as a Texas Marshal forced to take on a maskedvigilante group calling itself the League of Patriots that's, in fact, a marauding gang of gold thieves. McCoy faces off with the gang leader, Charles King, in a can't-miss showdown. Art Davis and His Rhythm Riders provide lively music while heroine Kay Leslie adds a feminine touch to this macho adventure.
