This 2-disc set of "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" (1939), brings together the exciting tales of the world's most famous private investigator - Sherlock Holmes. George Zucco stars as the villainous Professor Moriarty, who has finally been captured and brought to trial for murder. Surprisingly, he is acquitted and set free only moments before Sherlock Holmes rushes into the courtroom with evidence challenging Moriarty's alibi and innocence. In "The Scarlet Claw" (1944), Sherlock Holmes and his trustworthy partner Dr. Watson travel to Quebec, Canada.  There the two crime fighters meet with the Royal Canadian Occult Society to investigate a slew of ghastly murders that residents claim are the work of a mythical creature.  But Holmes doesn't buy it and sets in motion plans to trap the killer using himself as bait.
