Norish Superman Cartoon Showdown (1942) - the man of steel takes on gangsters
Beaver's dad and Lassie's mom are in some serious trouble in one of the two classic film noir features gathered in this special collection. "Bury Me Dead" (1947) finds June Lockhart attending her own funeral and Hugh Beaumont is standing by to help her find out who is really being buried in that coffin and why anyone would want to kill poor June? In "The Chase" (1946), beloved TV star Bob Cummings plays it serious as a former GI turned chauffeur who gets drawn into a gangster's seedy life and then gets framed for murder. These offerings are film noir at its best.
