"The Children of Huang Shi" (2008) tells the harrowing tale of an English journalist, played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers, who goes to incredible lengths to save 56 young orphans from probable doom. First coming to China to document the horrific acts of violence perpetrated by the Japanese army, he's arrested and narrowly escapes execution, ending up recuperating in a boy's orphanage run by a tough and beautiful Englishwoman, played by Radha Mitchell. When Japanese soldiers nears the orphanage, the two of them have to flee with the all the orphans to save them from conscription into the Japanese army.
