Based on Peter Cameron's 2005 novel, James Ivory's "The City of Your Final Destination" (2009) stars Omar Metwally as a young graduate student in America who wishes to write a biography on the late Jules Gund, the enigmatic writer who spent his final years with his family in Uruguay and then committed suicide. Anthony Hopkins, Laura Linney and Charlotte Gainsbourg star as members of Gund's inner circle who refuse his request for information, so Metwally heads off to Uruguay to see if he can change their minds.
