Indian superstar Shashi Kapoor, who would also appear in their "Shakespeare Wallah" (1966) and "Bombay Talkie" (1970), stars as a young college professor trying to adjust to an arranged marriage to a woman (Leela Naidu) who's more outspoken than tradition demands.
