The world's smallest country declares war on the United States in the breezy political satire "The Mouse That Roared" (1959). Comedy legend Peter Sellers plays three roles as the duchess, prime minister and reluctant military leader of the fictional country of Grand Fenwick, which hopes to lose a bloodless war against the U.S. in order to reap the benefits of American aid. When Sellers' bumbling soldier captures a military scientist, the world's smallest countries turn the tables on the Cold War's mightiest nations.
